Default September 2021 Challenge: The Island of Vythe

My brain immediately screamed MAP MAP MAP! This was just last week, so this challenge is right on time.

I initially traced the outline, but in the interest of getting a better composition filling the page and in the spirit of doing all my work within the month of the challenge, I re-did the outline trace yesterday and have added towns, roads, and physical feature guides.

Looking good already! That is definitely a very map-like shape.

Oof, I feel like I'm so behind already! Here's the basic shape of things. I'm staring at Voolf's forests thinking about how to execute those.

You still got plenty of time to finish - 20 days!

I like the outline so far quite a bit, looking forward to seeing where you go from here

Ohhh! Really nice! This is slowly taking shape! I wonder if your wife is hiding more inspirational references, I'm quite jealous now!

    Good work!

You know I'm a sucker for a traditional approach. I love the shape of the land mass, I'm always excited to see your work, J!

    Thanks, everybody!

I'm making more progress on the interior, filling in the mountains and forests, and I've erased a lot of the sketch lines.

Here's most of the line work done! I have to decide what pattern to put on the border now.
