Default September 2021 Challenge: The Geminos Lakes

Well, I choose the third image down from the top and was able to finally get it started.
So here's the beginnings of what will be the resort villages of The Geminos Lakes.

Ahhh, very cool idea! I see I wasn't the only one who thought 'lakes' when they saw that...

Oh, that's cool! I definitely didn't think of lakes.

First off, thanks for the positive comments everyone, much appreciated.
Secondly, after looking at my WIP, I realized I had a proportion issue with my village grid layout and the water, they were starting to look more like ponds than lakes. So I went back in and reduced the grid but then I couldn't help but feeling this was just going to look 'OK.' So after some thoughts last week, I decided my new direction was to emulate a 1950s/60s gas station road map. Got lots more to do on it but here's my progress at the moment.

Well, I made some more progress today an I'm hoping to have it completed tomorrow...maybe.

Very impressive. Solid marketing. I'm ready to buy some Dragon Oil.

However, there are a couple of corrections to make before this goes to print. The first "c" in "scenic" is missing. There is an extra "i" in "villages".

I look forward to seeing what will fit in to that area on the right.
