    Default Ras Vara

Sketch map I did. Spent a couple of hours on it. Part of a greater setting - Narvusuo was part of it.

Really good work. Do you use a model or sth as a base or its just a freehand drawing?

Yes I do! I mock up some basic shapes in sketchup and use them as my guidelines. It's a lot easier than drawing perspective lines (which you can sometimes spend longer on than the actual drawing lol). Other times I will use an isometric grid as my guidelines. Depends on the look I am going for. Infact I'll attach what I made as my guide.

Thanks for answering. I use a similar technique for complicated pieces and to make several mock-ups for my customers but ı use grid pattern it makes much easier to add or subtract in drawing phase. Lately I have been experimenting with blender's grease pencil to make 3d maps still nothing to show for but its facinating.
