    Hi everyone,
    New update, as usual!
Many supplements are set up but the map lacks several labels yet.
This work attests the versatility of Affinity Designer, a great piece of software.

    Dear fellow cartographers,
On this cold and snowy early morning in the middle of the great plains, Xmas Eve is coming. I almost heard Santa’s sleigh coming in town…
On the other hand, our friends from Mangor sent out a new map of their beloved city. Many things are done on this but many other remain to do yet!
Meanwhile the Atlas of Mangor is on the workbench. This one is another challenge…

New improvement on the map: added a missing island on the previous previews; sea and water bodies new colors, add labels (but a lot must be done yet), etc.

    Merry Christmas!

Default Last release of the year!

    Hi fellow cartographers!
There is the last release till the end of the year.
Many improvements and additions on the map (labels, roads, buildings, districts borders and so on).
Not finished yet but the final version is not far.
After that I'll work on the parts of the Atlas: details of districts and villages, main buildings as temples, schools, inns, etc.)

    Best wishes !

    Hi!

New release. Some improvements and additions on the map but many little things to do again to reach the final project.
The second project will come soon, with a (very) detailed map of the Upper Town. The Atlas is on the right way now!

Looking absolutely stellar. Love the subtle shaded relief effect so much. The only nitpick I have (if I absolutely have to say something) is that the transition from land to see looks a bit... digital, if that makes sense. The lack of any beaches/cliffs/... cause the coastlines to look a bit unrealistic. But this really is a minor detail compared to the overall awesomeness of this map!

    Hi!

Thank you for your careful observation and kind comments. Of course, the layer showing beaches and low tide areas is not finished yet. Mangor’s landscape is mainly a low land; thus, there are not cliffs there, only low slopes or sandy dunes, even more swamps and marshes.
The only elevations of some importance are the Temple Mount (490 ft) and Philkan (470 ft.). Both were former hills when the country wasn’t at the middle of the Shüb River mouth.
