Dec/Feb '22 Lite Challenge: Tomb of the Forgotten

So I played around with the generators a bit, and eventually came across a few things I liked as far as dungeons go. God's willing, I will get this done in time. Feel like I am off to a fair start having finished the outline and a bit of dressing for the deepest level of the tomb. If all goes well, there will eventually be two "dungeon" levels, one "surface" level (monastery/temple) and one separate "surface" level (small mosuleum).

Still a bit of work to do on this level to flesh it out and clean things up. Maybe a bit more experimenting with textures, but feel like I am on a reasonable path at the moment. Will probably try to develop some more behind this, but trying hard to stay focused on finishing the map first and foremost.

EDIT: The insert is the original generation result. Obviously I am tweaking things a bit. Hope that isn't a problem.

Just a small update that finishes out the texturing for the coffins, sarcophagi, visible doors, secret doors, and teleportation portals. Hope to have some time tomorrow to get a fair chunk of "dressing" done.

Thanks, Kier. It really isn't about whether the challenge lasts long enough, it's about whether the rest of the world will leave me alone long enough to finish. Yesterday, for instance, technical difficulties pulled me into work for several hours.

Anyways, an update. Few little floor tweaks and added a bit more dressing. Trying hard to avoid cluttering things too much but still include a fair amount of detail. Back in the days when I used to have time to sit at a table and play there wouldn't have been this much color to things, but want to push myself a bit with this on an aesthetic level.

Thank you Kisachik. I am hopeful for getting it done in time as well. Between the holidays and two employees testing positive and having to quarantine, the last few weeks have been rough.

Anyways, an update. More dressing added though I am not entirely happy with that bed looking thing. Must admit that as I have been working on the lore behind this, my mind has went to a dark place so as an adventure (or a story) this won't be wholly appropriate for younger players/readers though I will post the more vanilla version of the lore when it is ready.
