Thread: Another GOT map

    Map Another GOT map

Here it is another map of Game of thrones world (westeros and free cities).
This is a Christmas gift for one of my friend, fully hand drawn (except for the signature that has been added after the scan) on A3 paper.
The compass is deeply inspired (almost copied) by one from Jared Blando.

A wonderful flow you've accomplished here, A n d. I was always fond of the map and lore of the Game of Thrones world, and you've certainly done it justice. That Celtic style border compliments the piece just right, great first entry to the guild, welcome!

Thanks, considering that I'm use to draw on A4 size, doing it in A3 and using the finest pen I have (0.05) , gave a me a lot of space to improve details.
I start drawing map in Dec 2020, since then I tried different style and technique, this is my last map of last year and I used for that the best option and method tried on the other maps

Thanks, about the border, I found it in a book from 1860, "Guide to the art of illuminating and Missal painting" there are good examples of real border and flourishing used in medieval arts
