    I haven't been active in the forum for last few months and wanted to post something. Here are some of my latest commissions and studies.

    I lvoe that last one! The only issue I have is that double stroke (white surrounded by black) around your labels. They distract a little bit, while the inking is magnificent. Great job!

    Thank you, I share the same thoughts about the double stroke but it was the only way to fit the lettering to clients needs in a short time. I will look into a better and efficent way.

    I would suggest just a white stroke or an opaque white glow around the text to make it visible but not distracting.

    That's my go to method but customer wasn't happy with it. It might be the font too.

    Well, client is king as they say. If they're happy, you're happy I'm sure. And rest assured, it's an awesome map even with the doubly-stroked labels. I especially love the 3D effect on the coasts. They really seem to rise out of the water, excellent job!
