Three Cozy Town Maps

I have a friend who does book covers for cozy mystery novels (think like Murder She Wrote type stuff, amateur sleuths, small towns, etc). She saw some of the fantasy type maps I'd been doing and suggested I try some for cozy mystery novels! These were some samples I made. I was a bit looser with perspective than I tend to be with my fantasy maps, just focused on making it look cute and trying to give each map some sort of theme (English village, bakery, witchy).



I thought these were a lot of fun! I've got some commissions coming up for more cozy type maps, and I might also make some personal ones at some point. I'd like to do a beach themed one too!

The isometric houses came out really well! I love the borders as well. I think that is some of the first cakes on maps I have seen

Thank you! And yeah, the cozy maps are a change from the fantasy type stuff I mostly have done. But it's fun to add cakes and cats!
