Wip Jun/July/Aug 2022 Lite Challenge Entry: Deadlocke

It has been awhile since I have participated in one of these challenges, so I decided I could use the change. Administrator Bannings: Deadlocke is actually book one in a trilogy, I am working on. It is not yet published, but I hope to soon.

Here's the working bio: The deceptive acts of an anocracy has made the United States the target of nuclear assault and open war. Timothy Bannings, an orphaned teen, finds himself running for his life from a Communist brainwashing facility. What appeared to be a ticket home has become a mad chase for a terrorist nuclear submarine.

Lol. I was born and raised here, north of Memphis. It is a beautiful land and I couldn't ask for anything more than what the Lord Jesus has already blessed me with!

Maine is a beautiful place too, judging by Google Maps. I love to poke around in different states and foreign countries.

Shading the landmass is a nice improvement.

Thanks. I'm at a loss of anything more to add. It feels a little empty (though minimal is better when it comes to book covers) and I finished it to quickly. I would like to improve upon the main character, but I think I have reached the limit of my current skill.

Sooooo... this might just be the finished piece.

Try adding a couple of small icons to the map like a compass, a ship and a plane, try a sticker or an emblem in one of the plain corners.
