    in the Qgis gui on the left bottom is the layers of the project

    right click on the " re-projected " ( top) layer and select from the menu "export" then "save as "

    Ah it's no worries thanks for your help through this.

    (Ignore the slight shade difference and natural shape change from switching projections)

    After:

Size:  12.5 KB

    Even after changing the DPI to 1000 the quality just seems noticeably worse. If this is inevitable I will have to live with it but It just seems bizarre I can't export the image exactly as I see it in the program. If anyone familiar with QGIS could tell me what's up I'd appreciate it.
