My First Inked Map!

It's been a while since I've delved into Cartography, but I'm hoping to go deeper than the Dwarves of Moria! With this map I was trying out different techniques, working on honing my style. If you have any critiques or advice, please feel free to let me know!

Welcome to the guild! This map looks pretty good - a lot like mine when I was starting out. Your forests look really nice, I could never get that style to work for me but you have pulled it off really well. As for advice, perhaps adding a border or a title could make it look a bit more complete. Otherwise, using a larger variety of pen sizes may help to reduce some of the crowded appearance that certain areas of the map have (like the center bit with all the houses. It feels much denser here than elsewhere on the map). All in all though a really great map!

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the advice. I've got a few different sizes of pens, but I still have to get the finesse of using light pressure for smaller lines.
