Map Noss Saga - World map for my novels

New here! Lurked around for inspiration before, but never posted. Thought you might like the map I made for the fantasy novels I'm working on. It's huge, 14,000px wide, there's a ton of detail meant to be seen only when zoomed in (I'm only posting the 4K version here).

Started with Azgaar until I was happy/locked after a year of writing and modifying that. Then exported to SVG, tweaked colors/fonts in illustrator, then went back and forth between AI and PS until all the text/roads/outlines were set. I drew the elements with graphite/paper, scanned, then made my own Photoshop brushes with them to fill the entire canvas. Color and such in Photoshop, too many layers. File is too big to work with now.

Here are a few closeups at 100% resolution:

Man the level of detail here is exquisite! Love the linework and colors, as Diamond said and all of the little features in the closeups.

Thanks! Here's a view of just the line drawing (water and coastlines were all drawn on a single piece of paper, the rest on a separate piece and then turned to brushes to stamp around).

Got two words for you... This Rocks!

That is some really excellent work. Lots of good details but it doesn't look cluttered, and that is always good in my book.

Wow, that is extremely impressive. Love the look of the mountains! Lovely faded colour scheme as well. Amazing map, glad you decided to end your lurking days!
