Default The City of Bethana (The Dark Eye)

    Hey, hello! =)

Another one this time, a bit more to the north.
Bethana, where the first settlers from Gyldenland (or: Myranor) once made landfall on these strange continent, a foothold of what will grow to become an empire. Up until today, the venerable port-city honors the god of the sea. The map was created for the TableTop RPG "The Dark Eye"; especially the adventure "Im Auge des Sturms" (In the Eye of the Storm). The map is in German.

    A hell of a job ! With a great result !
I love all of it, with a special mention to your cliff (I don't know why, but it's quality jumped into my eye !)
And those labels are a great idea to bring some more informations (classifications by type of place)
    Congratulations !

Gosh, thank you so much - JO -! Yes, the classification is an idea I had a few years ago to immediately set apart Temples (T) and everything that is a dive/tavern/hotel/etc. (G, for "Gasthaus" in German), since these are relevant to players in different ways. (A) is used for things only relevant to this Adventure and are excluded when the map is used in another context. The other labels (two letters) are only to differentiate the quarters. Again, thank you! =)

Great work as usual, your city maps set up a standard, they are so clean yet full of details! I always want to draw city maps but they are so time consuming, expecially the planning.. ( I still have one city map that I started drawing ages ago.. )

They really are time-consuming, but I also find them quite meditational most times. Thank you Tom! =)
