    Default A dwarf's weekend hide-out

Hey all, this is another quickie I did in the isometric style I'm exploring. I added colour again since I just can't help myself (I always try to remind myself that 80% of the work can be done with just 20% of the effort and that the remaining 20% takes 80% of the total effort and is thus not worth doing... but then I go ahead and colour and shade things to sub-pixel detail again... I'm incorrigible).

So this little map depicts a dwarf-named-Garv's little hide-out in the hills. After my rather dark and gloomy map of the Fortress of Sagahra Bridge (despite the lack of deep shadows or gloomy colours), I decided to keep this one light and merry, especially in the description. Let me know what you think!

Never get lured into the fathomless depths. That's a motto I try to live by.

This is very cool and full of great story hooks. Nice work!

I love this type of map, in large parts because it is so completely beyond what I can do with perspective. Love the way the light and shadow are done, especially the little lantern, and the floating orbs You pulled the glow off very nicely.

The orbs seem nice. I bet those fathomless depths have untold treasures and unimagined wonders. Garv should totally check it out.
