    Default Chirefeld, Maine, est. 1703

Chirefeld (pronounced SHEER-feld) is a fictional town in New England, specifically intended for Maine. I have a fondness for the horror RPG genre, so I thought I'd give the antique cartographic style an attempt.

Great map, or, as we would say here in Maine,, Wicked Good!
Horror set in a rural Maine town, very Steven King-ish!

I'm glad to see this new style is appreciated. I forgot to mention that it was hand-drawn on a digital tablet using Clip Studio Paint. The Full version of the drawing includes street names, a list of 40 labeled businesses, and a list from A-Z of notable locations.

I have always been a fan of Lovecraft's New England, but as a resident of the West Coast I have to experience it vicariously. Other than a brief visit to Washington D.C. and a layover in Bangor I have yet to experience it. In the meantime, I hope to do it justice through cartography.
