Default Dove un Diavolo perse il capello (Commission)

    Hi Everyone

This is a commissioned piece that I completed near the start of this year. The client wanted to keep the full image under wraps though until the novel that it's being published in was ready to go. The novel is now on preorder so here is the map for your enjoyment, I've also posted the link to the preorder below but you may only be able to buy the novel if you are located in Italy.

As always any comments and questions are very welcome.

The map is done using all physical materials as outlined below
    - A4, 200gsm watercolour paper
    - Dip pen with sepia Windsor & newton calligraphy ink
    - Pebeo studio watercolour paints

Another really amazing piece. I can't imagine the patience you must have to do all of those shadows (and so accurately).

Haha nice map! very pleasant style, but there's a typo in your title, I think the real title is: "Quando il Diavolo perse il Cappello", "when the Devil lost his hat"
    Bravo!

True, I spelt it correctly on the map at least. I did have to be very careful about spelling with this one though and get the client to check it all as it's all labelled in a language that I don't speak.

It's funny because the title of the thread "dove il diavolo perse il capello" means "where the Devil lost a hair", which sounds cool too!

It's looking great! It will surely look terrific in the book.
