I second Ilanthar, the bridge is spendid. As for the contest, maybe it is holiday time ? I have a few days of vacation, it will depend of the weather : if it is fine I will go to the beach and swim otherwise i'll try to join not to leave you all alone

So I think I'm about done with the buildings, no more buildings to add, just got to finish the roofs and floors etc. It's been going slow because I want to do cut aways of the buildings like the guy did in my inspiration images and so I've also been modeling interior shots and like roof beams and rafters etc. Got to finish out the buildings with that and then get to try and painting the stuff.
And fixing the terrible water... which will be done in the painting part.

Ilanthar is correct Jo, I'm mostly using Blender. For the cliffs I'm sculpting them in 3D coat and importing them to blender. I also intend to texture them etc in 3d Coat and then bring it to Blender for rendering in Cycles Renderer.
Tonquani, yes I'm still planning on the semi ruined state when it is occupied by inimical forces later on in its life. I think there will be something like 2 or three shots depending how it works out, one is going to be a cut away of the buildings, perhaps one of an overall shot, and then for sure again an overall shot when it is occupied.
I'm embarrassed to say, because I pressured others to join me in this competition, that it is clear that as per my usual modus operandi I'm not going to get it finished in time. I really thought I pared it down enough that I could get it done in a month. I think I really need to go extreme states of editing the initial idea down next time, something very, very direct.
No, non and no! You will finish it ! This bridge is too brilliant to be thrown into oblivion !
