I know I'll pass this year as I passed on Inktober but I hope to see many guilders partake, it's a great way to hone one's skills.

EDIT : and the "Kickapoo" one is gonna be epic, "A long @$$ f***ing time ago" is definitely an adventure starter

I hate to say it, but nope. November's a bad month because it conflicts with nanowrimo We should make it mapbruary instead!

That should be fun, but it's true, November isn't the best month... Who knows, I might try myself, since these titles really get me thinking.

Haha, there are some... interesting... song titles in that list. A few offer up ideas immediately, but there's one or two that I wouldn't have a clue what to do with.

I've heard a few people say November's not a great month, and IIRC, we had quite a few members take part in NaNoWriMo last year (and if people are doing it again this year, I hope they'll post about it!)

I think Mapvember coming on the heels of Inktober doesn't help either. If you've been doing Inktober, the thought of another solid month of commitment to posting every day might be just too much.

    Hehe, maybe that's the answer!

Mapvember feels like something the Guild should be all over, but I think there were only a handful of people took part last year. I recall Daniel did exceptionally well, but I don't know if he'll be taking part again this time.

I'll probably give it a try while I fail to get anywhere near 50k words for nanowrimo.

I am planning to participate. I am actually thinking now about how to approach it.
I have some trouble with some names... like kickapoo. The song doesn't really give me any idea.

Voolf, for some inspiration, I do believe the Kickapoo are a native people of the US who fought with Tecumseh. That certainly hives me a few ideas.
