Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

The Cephalopod - Feb/Mar 2017 Lite Challenge - Map a huge battleship
I don't think I've seen this one before, nice job again. I really like the part on the paper, and what font is this, the one that looks hand written? I absolutely have to have it.
Thanks Kacey This is the Lite Challenge entry I did for the Feb/March Map a huge battleship Lite Challenge. I keep forgetting to put it up in Finished Maps, but I will soon. I can't tell you the font at the moment because my system is a bit tied up re-rendering a sailing ship, but I'll look it up and add it as an edit when I'm done. EDIT: Its called Mathilde, and I think I got it from Dafont, but I can't remember because I've spent literally days on all the different font sites looking for decent fonts.
