Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Auberge du guet av plan 4
Hi JO! Stunningly beautiful map, both outdoors and indoors. I just noticed something strange. The main L-shaped house has three (3) chimneys, right? Lower left, center and upper right. The lower left chimney starts at the ground floor while the center chimney starts at the top floor. They both are seen on the roof. So far so good. The peculiar thing is the upper right chimney. It starts on the ground floor and is visible on the roof. But unlike the lower left chimney it isn't shown on the upper floors i.e. the upper rightmost rooms of the two upper floors have no chimneys visible.
Thanks for your comment ! You are right : I should have drawn the northern wall thicker to let the chimney go through… my mistake
