Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Map of Kaherm, a world created for RPG system called "Blood".
I love this map! Very nice work. Are you interested in commission work? I am looking to have my homebrew campaign map done and really like the style you used here. Keith
I love the feel of this map and the mixture of the large-scale overview with the miniature placeholders. So much detail without overcrowding. Can I ask what systems you used to create this?
Hey Hustle. Glad you like it. By "systems" i guess you mean software? I used Krita to create this.
If I understand correctly, that's pretty much a digital painting software, right? Meaning this entire thing was hand-drawn and hand-painted? I'm stunned, Voolf!
Yes Hustle, i would rather say digitally painted, but yes I actually drew everything by hand using small tablet along with Krita painting software. Thanks again. You can see my Wip thread with this map here.
This thing has got it all. Amazing job.
Great work man!
