Thread: Map for a adventure game (commission)

Default Map for a adventure game (commission)

Small map for an author of text-based game called "Untold Riches".

You probably notice that forest are out of scale. Client decided to have it this way. I was trying to make a rainforest with bigger individual trees, but in the end they looked like deciduous trees, so we went back to this smaller scale style forest. in the end happy client, so i won't complain

Edit: eh, mistake in a title, shame on me

    This is GORGEOUS Voolf!

I love, love, love this drawing.

I'm not keen on the extreme muted colours, but the drawing is so beautiful that they hardly matter at all.

Don't worry about such a tiny tiny mistake in the title. The drawing just shines so brightly that everything else just palls into insignificance

Beautiful! I love, love, love the muted colours and the detail around the edges is really well done.

I think this is one of my favourites of yours, Voolf! Absolutely stunning line art. I love the lighthouse and the cliff in particular!

Damn, I feel like I haven't shown my face here in ages! I have been lurking about as usual, but I don't think I've posted in a looong time... I must now break my silence however, since this is a fabulous piece of work!

I really love the coloring and the torn paper look. Your linework is something I can only eye with envy, it is so simply beautiful to look at. And the forest looks gorgeous despite the scale. Of course the map looks a bit bare, but I'm sure that was the intention.

Love it, absolutely love it! And I can't even rep you...

Great map Rafal ! I really like how discreetly you fade your sea color near the border.

Beautiful job and really nice line work and forest shading. Like how you stepped up from the marshy area. Sorry can't rep you right now. Great job!
