    Wip Eastern Korlay Regional

I took a part of the big map and carved out a regional in a different style.

I'm not happy with the mountains yet. Any suggestions for a style/technique that might work better with this style of map?

    Thanks in advance

Firstly I'd just like to say that it's already looking nice! There are lots of different mountain brushes about that might help you change the style. For me the mountains are too uniform in size, maybe try smaller mountains at the edges of your ranges and a few larger peaks strategically placed along the range.

Yep, I think you should try varying the size of the mountains. If you were to keep them in the general way they are now, without any shading, they might look extremly stylized... but that isn't a bad thing.
Very nice looking map up to now!

    Thanks. Some good feedback there.

This looks a *little* closer to "right" ... I went with the unshaded versions.

Better? Suggestions? Do I need a smaller set? should I shade them?
