Default The Sacred Isles of Møstrvæya

Hi all! Another practice map, mostly to teach myself to get a little faster! I'm usually one to pore over semi-pixel details like a maniac, and I wanted to depart from that for a bit in this first self-declared "Mapvember" entry.

It's looking great!... except for the flashy blue that is too "neon" and doesn't fit with the rest of the map, imho.

Yeah it *is* a bit on the fluorescent side, isn't it? I totally missed that on my main screen, but it's fairly obvious on my phone. Calibration here I come!

It looks really great! I agree with Ilanthar, and the tan colored sea isn't my favorite, even a muted blue color would probably be better in my opinion.
Besides that I really love everything about this map!

Looks like my comment didn't make it to posting yesterday. I love the color palette. The blue might be a little neon-y, not sure how spell that. But it made the islands stand out on the lack of colored sea. Maybe just a little darker or lighten, just a little less bright.

Hey Thanks Kier! I'm trying to incorporate that suggestion in my next map in the same series. You can follow my progress here: https://www.cartographersguild.com/s...t=48112&page=2

I'd have to agree with Ilanthar, not a huge fan of the blue hue surrounding the isles. Doesn't really go with the overall colour scheme.
Otherwise it looks great. Your linework is somewhat heavy but has a lot of character. I especially enjoy the compass here!
