    Hey!
Lost in the depths of the Haura jungle lies the long forgotten temple of Tocatlecuhtli, the Spider God!

This looks like a great one, love the perspective, do I see cocoons hanging in the trees?

Thanks Snodsy. Cocoons and webs might be involved

I have never before been in a monthly challenge. Are landscape paintings allowed for the "mapping challenge" ?
Thanks! I already done some landscapes before and it was ok. Depending on the subject, landscapes are sometimes better

    Yes it was this one

    You have great work

Thunderdome is a landscape and also maps the town layout, which is a mapping element in my view.

There are some simple ways to add mapping elements to your illustration I think, top right corner could fit a simple region map for the location of the ziggurat. Would fit super with a dashed line and X mark so it looks like one journeyed to the location and finally arrived infront of the structure with this excellent view point of it. Like an Adventure, I love adventures, as is my name.

Chickpea isn't the only one that has to watch out for spiders, Mouse. Some of those South American critters eat rodents...

Nice work on this mate. It is a really cool piece. It would look cool as the cover for a creepy, cthulhu-esque comic!
