Very nice! That region sure brings back memories of epic adventures back in the 90s.
I'm always very impressed with hand-drawn work like this, and your lines bring out a style that feels very true to the setting.

Hello, cartographers! It's been a while, I know, but after several exciting and exhausting months of moving across Europe I'm finally back to mapmaking :-) To sharpen my quills, I'm working on some traditional black & white maps (inktober, anyone?) and here is the first one - the map of the lands and the cities of the Sword Coast and the Savage Frontier of the continent of Faerun, well known to all D&D fans. It's an ink drawing on the 35cm * 27cm paper, with some final polishing done in Photoshop CS3.

Beautiful!
That's beautiful work, Teclex! I'll rep you if I can
The only criticism I have is that some of the lettering is a bit hard to read (eg the 'N' in "Western Heartlands")

Wow! My jaw just bruised my collarbone there! This map is so beautiful - and it's only two colours! You deserve them all - comment, rep and rate!
Excellent A totally gorgeous version of a classic.

Excellent work.
Yowsa! That looks great, and I am always a fan of the "simple ink work," though I imagine it wasn't "simple" at all.
