    Default Ratapult saying hello ...

    Hello to all from Ratapult

Long time lurker and occasional amateur Cartographer. I will be posting some finished maps in a while and trawling for tips for future ones.

Mostly I have been working on LARP Maps but am always keen to try new things.

Thank you all for your contributions

    Hi Adam :-)

Both digital and traditional media have played a part of my mapmaking so far - some have been fully digital (but still when printed look at authentic/in-character as possible)

At the moment I am working on some that are a digital base (landmass and basic mountains/city landmarks) with the colour feign a mix of inks, coloured dusts and paint/pencil to add depth and bring it to life :-)

It depends on my creative mood at the time ... one day I hope to get a good set of mapmaking elements together in rubber-stamp firm and almost “hand make” maps - but that’s a long term plan
