Also, if I'm not mistaken, the "Like" buttons seem to have gone away. Right?
There used to be a group feature here. I set up a Spelljammer group, but I get 404 errors if I try to surf in on the URL, and I don't see groups any more.
Have the groups been deleted forever? Or are they going to be restored at some point?

There was a recent update and Robbie has been trying to get it straightened out.
Other problems seem to be cropping up. Hopefully it'll get sorted soon.

Quite a few things are missing under the directories of "finished maps" and "requested maps"

As well I am having issues with the search function reporting an error
I'm pretty sure nothing has been deleted but I do think the links are currently busted. If you know the artist you can probably look it up manually but it does take time. It's what I've had to do myself but if you don't know who did it you might have to wait until they hopefully can fix the links. RobA or Robbie might be able to shed better light on this but that's what I think is going on.
As for the search that's for sure broken at the moment. Not sure how soon it'll be corrected.

That is odd, those links work when using the Tapatalk app but not the browser.

These links should work in the browser.
Hmm, those numbers at that end are the same as the original links.
Maybe a general rule for converting broken links could be

What actually happened is that the group that was developing VBSEO, which is a major paid application for search engine optimization for vbulletin has called it quits. They went completely bankrupt or something and shut down their site and everything is just gone. The problem with that for us is that their software would need to be updated to keep up with web server software updates. This obviously didn't happen which caused the Bad Gateway errors earlier this week. The only way to bring the site back was to disable the search engine optimization, which is what produced the "pretty" URL's. So now any hard links that refer to those pretty URL's are broken. Rather than do a mass link replace to turn the broken pretty URL's into ugly URL's, I'm holding out and doing some research to find an alternative SEO option. Hopefully by this weekend I'll have it all sorted out.
In the meantime you can find groups by clicking the community dropdown at the top of the page under the main nav bar or click here: http://www.cartographersguild.com/group.php
Also, I've made the search function work again. That was all my fault.
I noticed that vBulletin v5 has SEO-friendly URLs built in (or so it says on their website)
