Wip Trying my hand at Daniel's starship maps (for Starfinder, in my case)

I'm feeling sorta burned out at the moment and have to force myself to work at stuff, so I tried to do something completely different from my ordinary work to get my creative juices going again. Ever since Daniel Hasenbos started sharing his Star Wars ship maps I wanted to do something like that myself, and Daniel has been so generous and shared a tutorial of how he has been doing his ships.

Mine aren't for Star Wars, though, but rather for the Starfinder RPG (even though I still haven't found the time to even read the Core Rule Book).

Just like Daniel I'm going to repurpose the first post to show the finished ship(s) that I've got so far.

So, here's the WIP for my first ship, a small freelancer freighter.

That line art is so clean! Great job! Will be keeping an eye on any updates for the interior.

Thank you. I think before I move on with the interior I'll have to put some work into the shading again; what I have looks very flat.

The ship colored and shaded is very nice. I hope you do more

I like the look of this very much! The exterior is very intriguing (: Can't wait to see how you'll fill in the interior!

    Okay, I haven't abandoned this!

This ship has two decks I intend to show. Below is what I have so far (the cargo deck). Since it's an independent freighter designed for longer tours it has a water treatment plant as well as a closed buggy for planetary excursions, including those of the lead-heavy kind.

Alright, now I just have to color and shade the second deck! Since this is meant to be an independent small freighter able to operate longer periods in space I added extra storage space and things like an actual kitchen and showers to make it more into a home rather than just a means of transit.
