I'm afraid I came in a bit late, but I really like the contest idea and want to try myself with a citymap. So here are at least my concept hand-drawings. I hope to get something finished these days, but we'll see how that works.

I think the city map itself is done. I added some more colors, differenced some roofs, added the necropolis along the the north road and some more details. I hope I can finish one or two views of buildings or city parts till the challence ends!

Nice work, great colors! I think if you add a simple border it will give it a nice finishing touch.

Thanks Bogie! I'm indeed working on the border and some details... at the moment it is not really a simple one , but maybe you're right and something simple will fit much better... I have to test different versions

Going further, I really need some opinions here. I made two versions: One with a maybe too overloaded border (but I like the details themself ;-)) and one lot more reluctant. But I can't decide which one to use for latest WIP. Any opinions?
