Hello, all. Long-time fantasy fan, reader, schemer. Occasional RPG player. Looking to check out what folks are doing and learn more about tools and approaches for map making. I have a bit of experience with Photoshop, thinking that it should be easy-ish for me to pick up making my own maps, so eager to check out tutorials and assets.

Photoshop is great for map-making. By all means, take a look through the tutorials thread and definitely join a challenge, it caused me to improve a lot over a short time.

Out of the PS related tutorials that can be found here, there are a couple I will always personally recommend (I'd look through all even if they aren't quite what you are looking for style-wise, as they will still teach you extremely useful skills):
- Jezelf's series
- the classic Saderan by Tear
- Atlas style by Ascension
