It is done on CC3? I yes, what is the base style? I am really impressed by this map primally because I still cannot do a city/village that i am happy with.

    congratulations.

The map is done in the CD3 style A but I'm using the buildings from style B. If you are interested in how I work I just added a tutorial here on the forum describing how i make my towns in CD3, revealing all my secretes

Here is a small update. I'm done in CD3 and now it is time to try to draw the actual hill/mountain the city is situated at.

It's looking great. Not sure what advice to offer about the hill/mountain side. I've always found them a bit tricky myself. I have sometimes gone with the hand drawn terrain shading (shadows and things), and one time I rushed some cliff side like on my Maguromura map, but I'm yet to find anything satisfying.

I'm going for the hand drawn version here, but I'm having the feeling that the result will either make or break the map

Well I've been quite busy lately making a style for Profantasy so I haven't had much time to work on my commissioned city. Luckily enough there is no deadline for this one (I'm making it for free for the site erebaltor.se). But some progress has been done. I've added a border and the work on the cliff side is slowly creeping forward. Not much left to do now. As soon as the cliffs are done the piece will be finished. Hope you like it.

I love it, I think it's turning out nice, the hand drawn definitely made the map.
