These are awesome! I haven't done any maps for Inktober yet, just random little illustrations.

Always love you're hand drawn maps, and these are stunning as always.

Thanks everyone ! Today, I had little time so, no map. I decided to go for a simple wind rose but Benjamin Basso style (go check his work !).

A little late, here are my last entries for this year's Inktober. I lasted three times longer than last years Mapvember and had to drop out for the same reason : commissioned works ... that and also, papers to grade and the critter to cuddle, kiss, tickle, rock to sleep, change, feed and look at endlessly with a dreamy smile on my face.

Here comes Inktober day 11 which I'm pretty proud of :

I'll have to rework it digitally and color it at some point and also add some colors with copics because, once it scanned, you can trash it

Inktober day 12 which was a poor attempt at having something for the day. I like the compass but the dungeon has no purpose or planning :

Inktober day 13 which is my first real try at a city even if I had more fun drawing the cliffs :

And finally, Inktober day 14. Here, I took a stab at J Edward's mountain, ending up with mountains that do not really look like his but I like them. I'll have to rework them a bit to see where this leads me. I also used copics to shade them and I have to work more with the pens, they're pretty fun little tools.

I guess that's the end of the road for me. I consider I reached the count of 16 days as I drew a city map and another top-down cliff map but those were made digitally so, it doesn't really count. I might bring that thread back to life in november if work allows it and maybe complete a whole 31 maps. Not that bad for two months

    These maps are beautiful, Thomas

I particularly like the ISO view you did last of all.

Thanks Sue, it was very fun to play with those and the iso one is one of my favorite too (even if the scale of the mountains is a bit off).

I'm loving the whole set, but 13 made me really happy. It looks great AND fun.

Pretty much all my maps are drawn by hand - ink on paper - and then scanned and contrast-enhanced
