This is some stunning scribbling! The perspective is solid, definitely slipped this in the inspiration folder.

I’ve been visiting your tutorials a few times while working on my current map (trying to improve on my style since I went over the top simplistic last time ) Great to watch your progress now during the challenge
Welcome back Herwin and good luck the coming days!

Thanks Eric, Marc and Adfor! And Marc, I'm glad to hear that my tuts are of use

I started coloring... I want to have it a bit of a vibrant feel but I'm not sure yet if it catches the right atmosphere. But...I will tune this a bit later...

    Thanks you Eric.

I finished the painting... Next up the labels, ornaments and "after-effects"...

That is absolutely splendid. It's nice to see a new map from you again on the guild.
Love the paint look of it. If I may ask, do you use blending layers on top of your parchment for colour? Or is it just normal layer on top?

    Thanks!

@Voolf: To give things a bit more texture I normally use two layers with parchment texture. One below the paint layer so where I don't paint 100% it will show through a bit. The second one is a copy of the parchment layer I put on top of the paint layer. I desaturate it and use blending options (overlay or whatever fits best) to have a bit of parchment texture on the paint as well...

I did some after effects, and added labels and a border. Now for the name and -if I have time- some nice illustrations...
