Finally can post an update. So, added terrains/rivers/cromlechs and cairns colors, clans territories borders, cliffs, clans main towns and secondary towns icons and tested out labels on them. I also gave a huge increase on contrast and highlighted the coastlines a bit . After having talked with the GM who asked for the map, we decided to enlarge it in order to have left and right cartouches to put shields and map key to avoid an overloaded map. Since he doesn't care that much about it and after having thought about Sapiento's question about compass, I decided to rotate them to go straight top north, which was a better choice to fit the new vertical borders.
Sadly, I had to decrease size and quality of the picture to be able to upload it.

thanks much Lyandra Next step will probably be the finished map since it's very close to be done. I still have to look at it closely to check if some details need to be fixed.

Looks better and better. Do you create the ornaments yourself or do you use pre-made brushes (or tiles if it is originally a vector format)?

Thank you Sapiento. It's a large jpeg reproducing some old russian ornaments. I had to worked a bit on borders and re-draw some parts to make it tileable since it wasn't at the start.
