The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

I had envisioned putting other elements onto this, sort of like a book cover with heroes and heroines and such so I'll dig thru some of my old drawings and if something fits then I might color em up in PS and finish it off the way I had planned.

Not sure I'll finish this post work stuff anyway since this map is too small for my liking and I can't put in all of the detail that I would like to. I dunno, haven't decided. If I could cartoon like whoever did Jack then I wouldn't have to shred my hands everyday on glass...think I lost about 1/2 a cup worth of red bubbly today (bad day). So with my fingers all bandaged up I'll probably just play a game tonight that doesn't require me to mouse anything. Oh wait there's that debate happening about 25 miles away, maybe I should go and sit in the audience so that I can see the trainwreck in person.
