That is a brilliant "start". Keep going like that and it will be a beautyfull piece.

I also really like the map in general. But I just want to say I really like the plateau. You've controlled the line direction so well that it's easy to "see" the cliffs even where they are not visible.

Thanks a lot everybody for the encouraging feedback! It's greatly appreciated Just saw that i haven't uploaded a "latest wip" for some time, so here we go:
    ### LATEST WIP ###
    CAYAD_WIP5a.jpg
Finally laid down the rivers, since most of my neighbors already finalized their borders.
I also added some more plateaus, so the "Kamaad" in the middle isn't feeling so alone . My subconscious resistance against proper planning beforehand, forced me to rework the first plateau. I came up with a more "stratified" style on the new ones, that i actually prefered (hope i didn't messed everything up this way) ...
The overall perspective is not perfectly coherent i guess. The "pseudo-iso" style somewhat clashes with the general layout of the larger map and its parts. Well, i hope it's not too disturbing, when seen next to the other maps in the end...
In the "Wahzi Province" in the southwest, i came up with a way to do the forests that i really like. I would like to use the same style on the other forests/jungles too, so i have to rework the forests in the north too.
Also, the two rivers coming down from the mountain range of the Ktlaq Homelands still have to be made falling down the plateau.

Next will be more landscape details in th the Provinces of Kharf and Nusf. Their cities are mainly along the rivers in the otherwise arid regions.

The Xruk Dominion is another locust-like insectoid race, bound to the God-Empress Yshtar. I'm still thinking about how those people dwell (and how to depict it)... i guess "nomadic" but any suggestions are welcome

I guess that's it for now, critique, comments, suggestions are always welcome!

    Cheers,
    AL

Take the time you need for this country of wonders. I love the new additions and the stone bridge.

Your additions are great, the southern forests look really good. The water outside the border is a little distracting for me, but if it's part of your plan I'm confident it's going to work out well. This is wonderful work.

    Cheers,
    Meshon
