Hey folks,
I'm new to the site, but I've been dabbling on the edges of fantasy cartography for a while now. If any of you have heard of me, it's probably through my Twitter bot, Uncharted Atlas, which generates random maps every hour. I also made a web page which walks through the map generation process, which might be of interest to some of you. In my day job I do academic research in glaciology, so I have some experience with the more practical end of cartography, and I'm excited to learn about the more creative side.

I actually mentioned your map generator in my WIP thread. I am using a map made with it as a starting point for a project.

Wow, I was supposed to start my own introduction post but I spent all night going over the python code (currently learning python myself).
The naming generator has been so much fun. Thank you.

Seen those generators several times on reddit and then here, that is so cool to meet you.
The automation will make freshly baked maps and the honest map making job extinct in the future.
I have to find another way to market myself, organic maps, free range dungeon tiles, non GMO continents
