Thread: Image Hoses/Tubes of Foliage

    Info Image Hoses/Tubes of Foliage

After I saw Torq's use of the ivy brush in the GIMP as trees I figured I would look for other suitable brushes/tubes/hoses.

I found this site that has a download sample of tubes that I converted into GIMP brushes and quickly sketched the attached image. They seem more suited for side views, but some (the Oak) in the bottom right) would probably work well for overhead maps too...

And I found a thread over at the Dundjinni forums that had a bunch of "world mapping" trees.

I converted them into brushes in GIMP. Not sure if I can redistribute as GIMP brushes, but here is a sample (on a semi-random background)

That top right one would work as Autumn ground cover.
Bill Stickers is innocent! It isn't Bill's fault that he was hanging out in the wrong place.
