May/June 2024 Challenge:

Hi, I'm going to try to sneak a bit of time for this challenge.

I'm using the technique "map this shape" to keep steady the flow of the mapmaking process, because usually the problem I have with the maps is not knowing where to put the lines.

I have used these 2 images, one on top of the other, desaturated, and with the B/W color curves adjusted so that neither of them are too shiny.



With that as a base, I put down a coastline, mountain lines, rivers, cities, villages and roads following the lines in the broken glass from the background images:

I have been working nonstop for college and right now I have two exams this week.
Also I have been working on a college project, and it probably could count as a map. I didn't begun this map previously to the beginning of the challenge, so it's rule compliant, and it's also a theme I wanted to make maps about since I signed up in Cartographers Guild: Ethernet Fiber-Optic Core-Net for an Operator.
So I'm changing the original development for this challenge with this map.
