    Map Second set of maps

Okay, so here's another set of maps from last month.

The first is a sketch for a city that is being done as a full color version.

The next is an encounter map for the Ruins near Cragford.

In my last post I put up the Marlwood map - http://www.cartographersguild.com/ge...-set-maps.html
The third is a zoom in of the area of Carmegenny Island in the Marlwood region.

And last is Peng Li, the Island of the Moon.

The first 2 were drawn again in a 7.5 x 10 inch sketchbook.
Carmegenny and Peng Li were both drawn digitally in PS.
Hope you enjoy them and thanks for checking them out.

Agreed - your encounter map is stunning. I love the grass especially.

These are really excellent and I'm a big fan of that encounter map. Is it pencil and paper? Finely-tuned tablet? Inquiring minds want to know your secrets!

    cheers,

Thanks jugabyte, Jack and Meshon. It's pencil drawn in a 7.5 x 10 inch moleskin notebook and then scanned in.
Jack - yeah, that's a new technique I was trying out for the grass. I used it first on the Bourmout village over here - http://www.cartographersguild.com/ge...-set-maps.html
