Yeah, "Outside the Box" was my first thought (I considered nebulae and lakes). But I'd really been wanting to try a portolan, and so I ended up with islands. It works well so I'm happy with it.

Wow, so are we up to three votes this month? I think that is the most I've seen in my short time here, even for the main challenge.

I think I'm going to need seven votes to cover all of my favorite entries.

Yep, it was a great turnout. This contest will close at 5pm EST (10pm GMT). Make sure any last minute additions are done before then!

17 entries.. thats just wild... so that'll be 3 votes... or perhaps 4 if one goes with the generous rounding up (which we should in my humble opion)

The contest is now closed. There will be three votes (sorry, but I'm sticking with the current rules for now). Congratulations to everyone who entered - that's really great. I'l have a voting thread up shortly.

ROFL, I thought 10pm GMT = Mountain time and I still had several hours to go. I told you my back is distracting me today. Oh well, at least I can move on now to my Big Apple project. Hehe, for a moment there I thought Torstan had been riding his particle accelerator again

I was pretty much done...just down to the endless tweaking one does until the buzzer you know.
