*** Sep/Oct 2014 Lite Challenge: Map a Lake ***

This month's Challenge idea comes to us from Ghostman:

The idea is simply to create a map of a lake or similar inland body of water. Size-wise anything from a tiny pool to an extensive inland sea would be acceptable, provided that it is the most prominent feature and the focus of the map.

There are no other restrictions; go crazy!

If you don't, the thumbnail scraper won't pick up your entry and it won't show up when it's time to vote. I just noticed that we actually had an 11th entry last month, but it didn't make it onto the poll because it didn't have the WIP tag, and I didn't catch it when it came time to put the poll together.

The contest will run until the 14th of October, after which we'll have three days of voting. The winner will get a lovely silver compass and a loud huzzah!
