    Default More work

Thanks. This is a lot more work then I realized, but it's been a lot of fun. I'm trying to figure this out as I go.

This is starting to look really good. I like it a lot better with the colour, as it helps to pick out the detail. I hope you'll be able to scan it somewhere and upload it before the end of the challenge. The detail on some of your roofs is fantastic.

Also, I hear ya on everything taking a lot longer than expected!!

Looking even better, nice details! A scanner would be best, but I am guessing this is to large for a normal scanner. So, much brighter lighting, Natural light on a mildly overcast day would be best. Direct sun will just have a lot of glare and be uneven.

I'm thinking the best way I was able to get a good image was to take it outside into even sunlight...although like Bogie said, you might have to find even shade.

I got som of my best pic so far with cloudy sunlight. The resolution was not what I was hoping for becouse it looked vary pixelated in my 30 day free trial of AP. I should have stated this in the last post but I desited to try and finish my drawing in AP(I was afread I would never get a good enofe picture), I tuched up the big trees and the river with AP in the picture above. Thow I have no idea what I'm doing with that soft ware. And how in the hell can Somone draw with a mouse? I also jest purchased a coppy CC3 with city dungen add on. Butt I feal to restricted with CC3 maby after making my own symbol set I'll like it better. An my own isometric symbol set for city3 would be nice. Sorry was geting off topic. For now I'll draw my detailed pieces separately scan them in and add them to the drawing.

    Default Photoshop is frustrating.

I had my battles with the digital tools as well when I first started. If you are determined you will get there. I could always do better with my pencils and paper but stick with it.

Hi Belgath, great to see you in the LiteChallenge too! It's a lovely detailed village-map you've drawn. The colouring looks very nice. Looking forward to see how it develops.
