Those look excellent Bogie, but they do make me kind of curious... I'm obviously not very savvy about this kind of map styleWith the pictures you take, like the rustic chair, and all of the textures you find and bring together, how do you sort out the lighting?

Thanks Chashio. The photos are taken straight down with as little directional lighting as possible. After I cut the objects out of the photo with Photoshop, I use a black outer glow to simulate a shadow to show the object is higher than the floor. When I actually make the map I will often put a shadow cover under the object to show the depth even more and I try to show a little bit of light source directionality.
With lighting, shadows and a Jug of my finest ale for ChickPea.
