Thread: My World of Kelleemah

Default Minor update to the world map

I did a minor update to my world map. I adjusted the terrain for Western Sutheimr so that it would match better for the regional maps that I have already done.

    Hey Charles

I'm a bit confused by this one. The map appears to only be showing the extreme southern tip of Sutheimr at the top of the map... or is this whole area known generally as Western Sutheimr

The maps above is the world map.
Western Sutheimr is the western end of the northern land mass.
Basically, everything west of the word Sutheimr on the map.

    Default Eastern Sutheimr

Here is a map of Eastern Sutheimr.
You will notice that it is done in a different style so as to represent a local map created by the Vagothians.

The map is split between Eastern Sutheimr in the northern side of the map and the Dwarven Realms of the Sellevolk to the south along with their Vistulan allies.
The Straits of Kaldrmarr (The Cold Sea) separates the Northlands from the Mainland.

From east to west the mountain ranges of Eastern Sutheimr are:
    1. Hundrbjarg (Hounds Rock)
    2. Austriveggr (East Wall)
    3. Valdrtonn (Wolf Fang)
    4. Sytnrfell (Moaning Mountains)

The only city in Eastern Sutheimr is Farmadrborg (Trader's Town).

The mountains from east to west in the lands of the Sellevolk & Vistulan are:
    1. Vostok Sellevolk (East Sellevolk)
    2. Sredniy Sellevolk (Middle Sellevolk)

The Vistulan city of Severmore (North Sea) is situated between the two mountain ranges and is a major trading partner with the Vagothian city of Farmardrborg.

I think I prefer the non hex version

I really like the frame. Did you make that yourself?

As for the names - I'm not even going to attempt to pronounce them! LOL!

Default Color Version of the map (WIP)

Here is the WIP for a color version of the map. So far, it is not coming out like I hoped.

"I think I prefer the non hex version"

Thanks Mouse, I like prefer the non hex version as well. I made the hex version as a DM's map so that it is easier to measure distance.

"I really like the frame. Did you make that yourself?"
No, that is part of the Par Lindstrom BW Style from Profantasy.

"As for the names - I'm not even going to attempt to pronounce them! LOL!"
Actually, they are pretty easy. A lot easier than Maori for the uninitiated. Not so hard for me since I lived in Hawaii for 3 years. LoL! :-)

    Default The Eastern Vogothian Relams

I have made several changes to both the plane and hex versions of this map.

I think they look great Charles. I have been wondering though about why you haven't taken that skill of yours of making interesting drawings of Maori style creatures and made a sort of border out of them. I think a border of Maori creatures made by you would probably look really good on your maps.
