I think as long as you don't go crazy and try to label every little thing, that font should work. It's a heck of a lot more legible than other pseudo-Arabic fonts I've seen. What is it, anyway? I like it.

Thanks a lot for the inputs and the kind words everyone. I wanted to put a lot of things, so I changed the font for a more legible one. I'll keep this for the title and a few things, though.
Not completely finished, but close too...

It's "K22 Timbuctu", and I agree, it's quite legible for this kind of font.

@Romeinoneday : apart of the corners and some text, would you like me to add/change something? Just let me know soon enough .

This is looking fab! You've really brought it all together with the last couple of updates. I like the arabic-style font a lot, but I think you made the correct choice to go with a serif. Some of the street labelling looked a little crushed with the arabic font in your last update, and it looks much better now.

Looking forward to seeing your final updates.

I've become very familiar with the Temple of Shiraz this past two weeks.... =P

    Great work so far, Ilanthar.

And a few views, lacking windows and details, but well... (I would have used this passage instead, if I got the time, it's the one located near the bathhouse).

Very fine work Ilanthar. I've always admired how conversant you are as a cartographer in so many different styles. The combination of using sketchup for laying out the settlement in perspective and then hand painting it worked out fabulously. Great job.

I am speechless. This is amazing work and you've gone well above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. I wish I could shake your hand.

Beautiful work Ilanthar, nice seeing you go from Sketchup to the final version, can't believe you built all of it in sketch up, ships and all, great job. Not crazy about the TITLE in the serif font, works fine on the labeling of the roads and such, but looks a little foreign as a subtitle.
