@Diamond - Thanks for the kind words The scale is.. uhm, European? Since we are talking about a medieval fantasy world, there aren't that many towns everywhere like today, we've got some areas of concentration around capitals. I made some primitive labeling with no names (just yet). Regarding rivers, I took the liberty of only drawing in the main and largest rivers in the land mask. If I do end up putting in more rivers, I'l do it separately using a pencil drawing tool or something of the sort.

That's pretty good! But to my eye, if the scale is roughly that of Europe, the rivers are too prominent. Feels unnatural to me. Just a small thing though. I like the way you did the forests, though!

@Llannagh - Since I'm just doing this mostly for learning and practicing, I'l just call it an island then. Il add some names, make it more realistic and call it an island, since I can see the issue with the rivers, and perhaps the mountains too.

For my more serious endeavours, I'l seek help regarding scale since I'm not that good at it! Thank you for the tips.

That's what I meant, but failed to articulate well. The rivers seemed too 'big', but there also weren't enough of them.

This is a lovely map. Colors and texture are great. My one critique is that the font is rather lackluster. A slightly more ornate font might suite this piece better.

Hi Alturax, welcome to the Guild!
I totally agree with all other people who commented your map before me.
Your first map is very nice, and the toponyms are so humorous! I couldn't get enough laughing when I read "Quite Large Mountain" and "This is a plain too"!
    Have some rep!

How did you do those mountains? I love them! The rivers are very good, however I'd make the forests a little sharper. Keep on the good work!
