I've reduced the size to A2 so its still gigantic but no one is printing it any ways.

I think I'm done with it about here. I saw some labelling problems when I was arranging the layers in GIMP and may post a correction later on down the line but I'm pretty happy with it where I am. I tried to finagle the banner in there but the one I drew here were too stylistically at odds with the rest of the map and the ones I experimented with in Inkscape looked really... extraneous and forced, so I left them out all together.
In the end I did manage to get everyone's name in as seeds. I had to add some towns and landmarks to do so, and then after doing all that I added a bunch of ruins at which point I was sorely tempted to leave them unlabelled, but I figured "Why short change the map at this point?" So like 18 more labels showed up
