I toned down the colors for the northern forests and I added some snow on it. I also changed the cities icons and did another try for the labels. Better? Worse?

About icons transparency : lazyness... I mean, it worked for the previous ones and just didn't changed the transparency to none. I'll correct that, thanks for pointing out.

I made the cities with a mix of a "kremlin palace" icon and chess pieces (queen, bishop, rook) . I wasn't really pleased by the fortresses, so I just used one big tower.
So, after a lot of labels... here's what I have.

I'll plan to do some more decorative elements and probably a compass of some sort.
